Our Beliefs

Vegan

We do not use any animal products and we believe that animals have the right to be raised freely without any interference from humans. Modern day farming has increased the slaughter of animals to sustain world-wide demand.  Animals have been forced to live within confines and force-fed to make them produce more. Consuming animal fats and protein have been found to increase a person’s risk of developing cancer, diabetes, heart disease and hypertension.

Gluten Free

We do not use gluten in any of our makeup or skincare products. Gluten is the protein that is present in cereal grains, especially wheat, which creates the elastic texture of dough and is used to bind ingredients together and add moisture to products. However products with gluten can trigger reactions in individuals with Celiac Disease such as flare-ups, blistering, rashes and stomach bloating. The average woman is said to consume 4 pounds of lipstick over her lifetime.  

Paraben Free

We do not use paraben, which is the most widely used preservative in personal care products. Paraben stops fungus, bacteria and other microbes growing in creams and makeup, especially in moist and warm environments. However parabens have been found to be linked to breast cancer and have been found in tumors. It has also been debated that paraben can be absorbed through the skin from topical application disrupting endocrine systems.

Sulfate Free

We do not use sodium laureth sulfate in any of our makeup or skincare products. Sulfate is commonly used as a cleansing agent in skincare and hair-products however it is also commonly used in many detergents and cleaning agents.

Cruelty Free

We do not test on animals, as we believe that all animals should be free from harm and have the right to live their lives without being caged and tested upon. Many animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice in laboratories are suffering and dying from the testing of cosmetics and skincare products. Chemicals are forced down their throats and dripped into their eyes and onto their shaved skin. These tests have caused many of these animals to develop blindness, swollen eyes, bleeding skin, organ damage, birth defects, cancers and death.
